My new life in the blogsphere, a meta-blog entry

I never used to write journals as a kid. It is fun to force this new habbit onto myself. Rarely do we get to change fundamental aspects of lives as we grow older. I am looking forward to new blog entries soon.

So, I see that you can live with the limits of blogging. There is room to improve the browser for sure. That is what I was trying to do with Alchemy which, sadly, I fear will never see the light of day now. The browser is poor at handling real time events and terrible at handling poor connections or none. But I do believe that Microsoft has always underestimated the value of simplicity. I think a steering wheel designed by Microsoft would be an idrive. Unless you use something every day, for an hour or more a day, the value of personal productivity is outweighed by the value of ease of use/learning. And yes, without you, there would have been no DAO.

Hey Pete, how's things whereever you are? (Found you via Adam's main blog). We're in San Diego now. I'm spending a bunch of spare time building community wireless (www.socalfreenet.org).
